U-450 Food Hand Wrapper U-450 is used to preserve the freshness and to enhance the appearance of food. The unit is made of stainless steel construction for cleanliness and ease of maintenance.It is equipped with an electric heat blade that cuts the wrapping film without fumes. The heated Teflon plate gives a tight seal. U-450 can take a roll of wrapping film up to 18" wide. Wait several minutes for the blade and plate to warm-up. Use the thermostat to control the temperature of the heat plate. Put the package on the work table, draw the film, & wrap the package with the film extending to the bottom. Pull the film forward and cut using the heat blade by pushing down. Press cut film against the bottom of the package. Fold down the edges of the film by hand and press the entire package bottome against the heat plate.
